Tips

As this is a two-day event and the route covers a lot of Koenji starting near the south entrance of Koenji Station. This means you can probably get a good seat. You can do what the Japanese do and have someone arrive early and reserve a spot by laying down a sheet of plastic.

The only area that gets crowded is under the broadway, especially when it rains.

Bring a cushion. You can get foldable cushions at most 100 yen shops.
